Walk Your Talk was conceived as a gathering to create a support network for those on a world changing path, not by mandating change in the lives of others but by taking positive personal action and turning that into a social venture, authentic business or both. The trouble with hierarchical systems is that most of the time the leader is not the most appropriate person for the job. If the hierarchical leader has been voted for in a democratic system then there is the added problem that the candidates are self selected in the first place, so instead of the leader being chosen from the entire pool they are only chosen from those who have decided that it is something they want to do.
